Round up your team of 4-5 players for our 2nd annual United Way of Indian River fundraiser tournament on Saturday, January 11 starting at 10:00 am (located at TBD).

All teams are guaranteed a three-game minimum (3 innings/game) or nine innings total. This event lasts 3 - 4 hours in total. All bats/balls are provided. Teams should arrive at least 30 minutes before start time and also bring their own tents, chairs, and a cooler with drinks. Food will be available for donations. This tournament has limited space. First come, first serve! Register and reserve your spot.

Besides the tournament, we will have an optional Home Run Derby for a $10 buy in. This is paid in cash on the day of the tournament!

See photos from our previous fundraisers below and keep scrolling for rules and additional info about this one-of-a-kind upcoming tournament experience!

Our rules are similar to Baseball, just miniature! We play with the official Wiffle bat and ball, which is made of lightweight plastic.

FAQ:

What are the rules?

Basically, we are playing miniature Baseball. Only 4 players on defense, pitch speed is limited, and fielders can throw grounders to the pitcher for the force play at 1B. We run bases and play pegs. See our video rulebook below:

What should we bring?

The only think you NEED to bring is a team of 4 ballplayers. We provide all bats, balls and equipment. It is good idea for teams/players bring their own chairs, cooler and a tent. You are welcome to bring your own bat if you want, but it must be an official Wiffle bat (skinny yellow), and there can be no modifications to the bat other than grip tape. Molded cleats are ok, but no metal. Most people wear gym shoes.

What do the winners get?

Prizes include (but are not limited to) shirts, hats, apparel, merchandise, highlight videos and most of all… bragging rights. There is no cash prize.

Do we need to wear uniforms?

No, but they sure do look good. Players can dress as casually or as done up as they please.

How long does a tournament last?

Tournaments last just 2 - 3 hours. Depending of weather and, whether hitters are swinging or taking :)

How early can we arrive?

30 minutes prior to the start time for BP/check-in. If you want some swings, get there a little early.

How old do you have to be to play?

Each event has different standards on required age. Reach out to your tournament director for info.
