Fall Camp
Fall Camp
Boys and girls ages 6 - 14 are invited to join us November 25 - 27 from 9:00 am - noon at RB Hunt Soccer!
The Gobbler is a St. Augustine, FL youth camp during Thanksgiving break from November 25 - 27 located at RB Hunt Soccer. Each day runs 9:00 am - noon and is open to boys and girls ages 6 - 14. Our camp objective is to teach fundamental Baseball/Softball skills in a safe, fun, and inclusive atmosphere. We only use plastic/soft bats and balls, so campers do not need to bring any gloves or other equipment of their own. Camp registration is $100/camper and individual day registration is $40/camper.
Arguably, there is no better time to be outside playing than the Florida fall. If your family lives in St. Augustine, FL and is looking for something for your kids to do over this freakishly long SJCSD Thanksgiving break, please consider joining The Gobbler! We will play Wiffle-ball, Kick-ball, Wall-ball, Tag games, and more! Our games can be a little bit chaotic, but please trust that we are furthering their development of footwork, hand eye coordination, teamwork, and sportsmanship. We hope some of our games are taken home and played with relatives or friends. Whether you are a beginner looking for an introduction to the game or a more advanced ballplayer, we have something for you. Our program is inclusive, skill-challenging, and most of all, FUN!
Campers should bring a refillable water bottle, a small snack, and a bag for their belongings. They should wear wear a shirt, shorts, and closed toed gym shoes (maybe bring a sweatshirt depending on weather). Drop-off begins at 8:45 am at RB Hunt Soccer located on Anastasia Island. A parent/guardian must walk their camper to and from the check in location.

Meet your coach!
Hello! my name is Coach Nathan Fudala. My playing days ended in 2012 after 4 incredible years of Baseball at Flagler College. Shortly after I launched Backyard Rule with the goal of sharing my love for the game.
We specialize in “pop-up” tournaments, fundraisers, camps, after-school clinics, and team building events. Our mission is to build teamwork and spread sportsmanship. The “Backyard Rule” means that we are here to play. We are not here to argue, we are not to whine, we are here to PLAY and we are lucky to do so!
Failing, losing, falling down, making errors.. these are tough things to deal with. We all have to overcome them almost every day. My coaching style emphasizes getting up and trying again. If successful in doing so maybe I can instill a beneficial attitude that can be build upon and lead to physical and emotional growth.
Thanks so much for your interest in our program! You do not have to be a seasoned Baseball/Softball player to enjoy it. If you are a skilled player I assure you that we will not “mess up your swing” and your skills will only be further sharpened. Come out, have fun, and be thankful for the chance to play!
