FAQ:

What are the rules?

Basically, we are playing miniature Baseball. We do run the bases, and pitch speed is restricted. Fielders can throw grounders to the pitcher for the force play at 1B (pitchers poison). Also, we play pegs so watch yo’ lips. Click here for our full video rulebook.

What should we bring?

The only think you NEED to bring is a team of ballplayers. We provide all bats, balls and equipment. It is good idea for teams to bring chairs, a cooler and/or a tent. You are welcome to bring your own bat if you want to, but it must be an official Wiffle bat (skinny yellow one), and there can be no modifications to the bat other than grip tape. Molded cleats are ok, but no metal. Most people just wear gym shoes. And if you trust the grass, barefoot is fine too. Uniforms are not required but they do look good!

What do the winners get?

There is no cash prize. And we aren’t real big on trophies either.. There are some some cool shirts, hats, koozies, etc handed out. The biggest prize is the fact that your team stomped everyone else’s ass. Winners are recognized on our social media page as are top plays and HRs from events. The year ends with the top teams from each city facing off at Florida W I D E.

“A gold medal is a wonderful thing. But if your not enough without it, you’ll never be enough with it.” - Coach Irv “Cool Runnings” 1993

How long does a tournament last?

Just 2 - 3 hours (depending on how well you do). BP/check-in begins one hour before the start time.
